'Prathikshanam' starts filming which is made by Parijaya Creations is a directorial debut of newcomer Vyas. Produced by Pallavi Srinivas the movie stars Rambha of the recent 'Donga Sachinollu' in the lead cast. The filming for this movie has commenced today on 13th September at Annapurna Studios.
The initial sequence is made featuring the lead Rambha, with the board clapped by Raja Vannem Reddy. The camera was rolled on by K Raghavendra Rao who also did the honorary direction.

Heroine Rambha an ever jubilant girl who spoke to the audience said, "The story is based on the events that take place on the consecutive day in the life of a simple girl. The flick is a suspense thriller that would enthrall audiences and this would be my maiden endeavor in working for a film of this genre."
The schedule for this movie was exemplified by the producer Pallavi Srinivas who said that the filming starts on the same day which will take place till 24th of this month in Ramoji Film City. Further more shots for the movie is planned to be canned in Sri Lanka after which the filming will be complete. In a season of hero dominated flicks, director Vyas stands distinct to portray the female lead as the protagonist. The director promises this flick to be a distinguished suspense thriller which stands tall among the usual.

Vyas continues saying, "Ace actor Prakash Raj is playing a unique role in this movie. Taj Noor a debutant songster is composing the music for this movie. He apprenticed formerly as a keyboard player with veteran music director AR Rahman. He is sure to bring a distinct flavor for the music. A total of four songs has been deduced in which two of them will be featuring the lead Ramba and an item number is done by pretty damsel Mumaith Khan."

The first shot of this movie was made with Rambha facing the camera. Raja Vannem Reddy clapped the board to start shooting and K Raghavendra Rao did the honorary direction after switching on the camera.
The shooting is pipe lined to be done at Ramoji Film city which will be continued abroad in Sri Lanka in the near future. This movie is a swerve from the usual run-of-the-mill focusing on the female lead in a distinctly different genre composed of suspense thriller.
